Student Project: 6th Grade Landscape

The 6th grade landscape paintings are the final task in a unit with support structure in place for them to soar with their individual ideas, techniques, and color mixing choices.  The basic principles of landscape painting discussed are foreground, middle ground, background, atmospheric perspective, overlapping objects, diminishing size, and vanishing lines.  The techniques they are learning also speak for themselves in the projects below.
